ADOPTABLE RINGO - German Shepherd Dog

ree

Ringo was an owner surrender to a veterinary clinic in Santa Maria due to having osteoarthritis in his hips and elbows. His previous owners were electing to euthanize Ringo due to insufficient funds for medical treatment. Ringo has been on a life-changing journey and is currently in good health, ready for his forever home.

Sedated radiographs confirmed osteoarthritis in both his hips in October and he has a metabolized ligament in his left elbow. Ringo completed extracorporeal shockwave therapy for his hips and elbows. Ringo is great at home with manual muscle massage and passive range of motion exercises of his limbs daily.

Ringo loves to play ball and does well with other dogs in the home. With his GSD instincts, Ringo does not do well with cats or small animals but does extremely well with people and kids. While he is house-trained and crate-trained, he would love to continue his training outside of the house. Ringo is waiting for his forever family to play ball and continue his exercise therapy.
