What is your approach to pet training?
At ProgressEndeavorK9, we value the human-animal bond. Ethologists (scientists who study natural animal behavior) have discovered that there is much more to dogs than just instinct. Dogs have emotions like our own and we shouldn't ignore their feelings either. Relationship-based training strives to meet the needs of both the human and the dog. There is the empathetic approach of taking into account the dog's point of view and to still consider the human's accountability.

Is my pet too old to be trained?
Never! Despite popular belief, you can teach an old dog new tricks. A lot of older dogs are completely capable of being trained and learning new things. It may take a little patience and positivity but it is never too late to introduce them to new skills and behaviors.
